Started writing another book. If I finish, it’ll be my third. Inside it there is maybe Texas and torture. Ghosts? Something is happening.
I read Bluets by Maggie Nelson. Gorgeous. It’s haunted, in a way. A hungry ghost. Very provocative, and wise. And beautifully designed; Wave Books makes great objects. I plan on rereading Bluets.
Forgot about my New Year plan to review more books. Oops. Should probably start blabbing about more movies, too. Like A Prophet, which I think is the best modern crime movie. It’s so taut and smart. Yikes. I’ll save up the praise for a full review.
